Leveraging our digital capabilities to help a social impact organization expand its reach

MoveUp logoWe're thrilled to announce the launch of an all-new web presence for the MoveUp Partnership for Adult Learning, a collaborative with the mission of improving access to adult literacy and quality jobs in the greater Hartford area. As the centerpiece of MoveUp’s updated digital strategy, the site is designed to be a one-stop resource of information, as well as a direct connection to classes, jobs, services, and events for adult learners and the partner organizations that support them.

Our engagement with MoveUp represents our first major digital marketing effort for a nonprofit organization. StitchDX principal Todd Felton remarked, “From the outset of our existence as an agency, social good has been in our DNA. In the case of MoveUp, it’s especially exciting to be assisting a visionary organization that approaches a major social issue holistically. The new MoveUp website positions them as an active, forward-looking hub for people and organizations addressing the challenge of poverty in greater Hartford.”

Bringing data-driven insights to anti-poverty efforts

In addition to elevating MoveUp’s visibility in the communities that it serves, their new website will provide them greater visibility into who is visiting their site and what information they are looking for. “We integrated HubSpot Marketing software into the new MoveUp site,” said Felton. “We’re looking forward to leveraging HubSpot to continually track visitor interests and create content that visitors will find more valuable in their efforts to alleviate poverty.”

MoveUp Director Sarah Dudzic remarked that the new website debuts at a time when the organization is taking an expanded leadership role in the mitigation of poverty in greater Hartford. “Adult literacy and job skills training have always been critical needs to be met. But how to make that education pay off—and make it sustainable—for the people we serve? With our partners we’re putting more energy into finding and creating the innovations that will yield the answers.”

The “big picture” for MoveUp is lifting people in the greater Hartford area out of poverty. While the organization’s roots are in adult literacy, it aims to integrate through its partner relationships education, employment, and the transportation that connects them. With a more clearly defined brand identity that’s aligned with its digital presence, MoveUp is better able to broadcast its messages more effectively, engaging more adult learners and more of the stakeholders in their success.
