While many of our colleagues and partners were tempted by our offer of discounted tickets to this year’s INBOUND conference put on by HubSpot (part of the perks of being a HubSpot Certified Agency Partner), many could not make it. I promised them I would write with some of the highlights, so here they are. Please let me know if you were there too, and what you learned.

25,000 marketers from all over the world have the date on their calendars: September 25-28.
It’s HubSpot’s annual Inbound conference and for us, it really is the can’t-miss event of the year!
First off, HubSpot puts on a hell of a show with keynote speakers past and present like Michelle Obama, John Cena, Billie Jean King, Martha Stewart, Alec Baldwin, Arianna Huffington, Anna Kendrick and Gary Vaynerchuk, as well as performers like Judd Apatow, Trevor Noah, Amy Schumer, Janelle Monae, and OneRepublic.
Then there are the digital marketing education opportunities and great networking with some of the greatest minds in inbound and digital marketing. It's all a lot to take in, but with the help of a little pre-gaming, you can definitely get the most out of your experience. Here’s what we at StitchDX are looking to get out of Inbound 2017.

In case you missed it, LinkedIn recently launched some big, new features. The latest enhancements represent the site’s next move as it seeks to become as relevant to content marketers and those responsible for distributing content, as it is to job seekers.
Here’s what’s coming at LinkedIn:
- Multi-photo Posts
Now you can elect and upload multiple images to a single post— great for uploading multiple slides or giving more context to an event! It’s only available on iOS for now, but LinkedIn promises the feature for Android and desktop soon.

A while ago I posted about how to make a long-term business blogging plan. Now I’d like to discuss in a little more detail about how you put meat on the bones of your plan.
Let’s say you’ve mapped out a six-month plan, with a fresh new blog post every Tuesday. Do you have that many interesting topics to write about? You bet you do—you just don’t know it yet.

When you’re trying to sell something, it’s terrific to have plenty to say about it.
The more features, advantages and benefits you can communicate, the more points of persuasion you have to offer, the more ways you have to differentiate your offering vs. your competition’s, the sooner you can get to close. Right?
Too much information, driving me insane.
Trouble starts when you try, as a beloved mentor would say, to stuff 10 pounds of poop into a 5-pound burlap bag. The bag loses, and so do you.

Reimagining a nonprofit website as a tool for lifting Hartford residents out of poverty.
Lowell, Massachusetts. Digital marketing and brand strategy agency stitchDX today announced that it is partnering with the Connecticut-based nonprofit, MoveUP. MoveUP identifies the most pressing needs facing adult learners and convenes the programs and people best-suited to devise solutions.
“We’re focused squarely on inspiring and supporting the type of creative thinking and collective action that will be catalysts for change in the greater Hartford area,” says MoveUp’s executive director, Sarah Dudzic, “and we excited for stitchDX to help us build the tools we need to do our job.”
New tools allow for new strategies
“Traditionally, nonprofits with limited budgets had little access to the type of digital marketing tools large corporations can afford,” said stitchDX Principal and Non-Profit Practice Lead Todd Felton. “Now, open-source and low-cost marketing automation technology enable nonprofits and social impact organizations to use digital tools to achieve their missions. Our newest client is as eager as we are to leverage that technology in their new website to enhance visitor engagement and strengthen their respected leadership position in addressing poverty in Hartford and beyond.”
